Stephanie Mesler ~

Poet, playwright, story-teller, musician. preacher, teacher, actor and mom.  There is something for every reader in Mesler's books.  Look for her books coming out in 2014:  Love Lines (poetry) and The Ballad of Donny Granger (a novel).

Adventures and Confessions of a Fat Lady Who Sings, a memoir of fattitude.  Stephanie Mesler is a fat lady and she does sing.  She has not led an uneventful life.  Her memoir is the story of an American woman making her way through a half-century's worth of of sizism, making her own choices, and coming out stronger.  Her stories will move you, sometimes to tears, sometimes to rage, often to laughter.  Adventures and Confessions is the right story for anyone who has ever felt put down.

Ermengarde The Expansive is the princess Disney failed to give us.  This fairy tale is a quick read, intended for children and adults.  Ermengarde slays dragons, suffers no fools, and takes control of her life even when that seems unlikely.  Her adventures will excite and inspire.

Soul Hill Lullabies, a poem cycle tells the story of mountain people joined together by geography, blood ties and shared experience.  These are the perfect poems for anyone who believes roots matter and that we grow through trial as well as blessing.

Sumiko Saulson~
SOLITUDE by Sumiko Saulson
To what extent does the presence of others affects our thoughts and actions? What do we believe when we are truly alone? Solitude is the riveting tale of diverse individuals isolated in a San Francisco seemingly void of all other human life. In the absence of others, each will  journey into personal web of beliefs and perceptions as they try to determine what happened to them, and the world around them. Each of them views events differently. Soon, threats both natural and supernatural leave them too busy fighting to survive in a world of strange and unpredictable events where all of the luxuries of civilization are being slowly eroded to even stop to wonder. And unless they can find each other, they will have to face it all alone, in the dark.

Caitilin Walsh & Alfred Hellstern  ~

"My boss was wondering if I'd be up for working in Dublin for a year. What would you think of moving to Ireland for a year?" And so began the adventure, chronicled by his photographs and her written musings, as they explore monuments and meet people (and animals) who will leave an indelible mark on them and their children forever.

Follow them as they trek down livestock-riddled narrow lanes, traipse through fields to standing stones and megalithic tombs, and deal with the delightful and at-times maddening resistance on the Irish to the intrusions of the modern world. But be warned: while prepared for an adventure, they didn't know they would fall in love. Which makes coming "home" that much more bittersweet.  In Hardcover, Paperback, and Electronic formats on Blurb.com.
